WHERE CREATIVITY AND CELEBRATION COLLIDE
CubaDupa is Wellington’s free street festival. It’s a festival of colour, art, music, theatre, dance, food, and thousands of artists. We are excited to announce our 2026 festival dates: MARCH 28 – 29, 2026.
As a fitting ode to the end of summer, CubaDupa is all about communal joy as familiar city streets are transformed into a vibrant celebration. Every corner of the Cuba Quarter will transform into a playground. We welcome you to a world of art and culture lurking right here in Pōneke.
We look to showcase the most exciting and innovative art made here in Aotearoa New Zealand. Applications for artists have now closed!
ENTRY INFO
- We'd prefer it if you leave your bags at home, but if you do need to bring one, please keep it small. Bags will be subject to a quick inspection before you enter.
- We are a cashless venue, so EFTPOS facilities and PayWave are available.
- Remember to bring your photo ID (a valid NZ driver's license, passport or Kiwi Access Card).
- Minors can attend only with a legal guardian.

- A range of food and drinks will be available in the venue.
