Daffodil Dancefloor

Daffodil Dancefloor

Events

United by the power of FRENZ-ship, the Cancer Society joins with a group of passionate Wellington creatives for a night dedicated to dancing, connection, and raising vital funds to fight cancer.

We’ve gathered some of the capital’s finest selectors to unite the people of Te Whanganui-a-Tara for a night of pure energy on Daffodil Day (Friday, August 28). Since 1929, the Cancer Society has been there for those with cancer and their whānau, working tirelessly to ensure no one has to go through cancer alone.

Cancer impacts almost everyone in our community. Finding out that a shocking 81 people are diagnosed with cancer each day, we thought it would be fitting to host a night of connection and dancing to say ‘F you’, to cancer.

T-shirts will also be available for those who wish to have a memento from the night. Printed on AS Colour Tees, pick up a Dancing Daffodil shirt designed by Jess Arndt, where 100% of proceeds from these sales will go to the Cancer Society.

Support can also be shown by picking up a sticker or a crochet daffodil o the night.

Every dollar fundraised will go straight towards the Cancer Society to help them continue their mission to support people in Aotearoa affected by cancer. This helps them to continue to provide essential services and vital resources for patients and their whānau across the country.

Rally the troops and come boogie for a good cause.
