FRENZ PRESENTS: Funk The Band, Yawner, Louie Flack.

Join us at San Fran on August 7th for a night filled with Funk, R&B, Jazz and House.

Funk The Band are a Wellington based group whose performance is guaranteed to entertain. They’re a fantastic force that blend a sweet mixture of classic soul funk and new-age jazz fusion. After their debut show in late 2025, they have been honing in their craft and getting ready to burn down the house.

Yawner is a R&B/Alternative project hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, led by Eden Brown (vocals) and Jamin Forlong (guitar). Formed in late 2024, the group has honed a sound that’s rooted in R&B, indie and jazz, and has now unveiled their work in two studio singles ‘Subside’ and 'Monkey Say' ahead of their forthcoming 2026 EP. Focusing on a heavy-hitting but soothing craft, they’ve organised an enormous live set which is not to be missed.

Growing up around a lot of music at both festivals and at home naturally Louie Flack has become infatuated with the idea of the floor, posturing himself as a slightly obsessive collector of music. As much as Louie’s collection centers a hefty amount of house music, he also plays soul, raregroove, jazz, disco, afrobeat, world and synth based music like post punk and Italo disco.
