EARLY SHOW
Meet the women behind The Girls Uninterrupted and Kiwi Yarns — bold, brilliant, and refreshingly real. Brodie, Gracie, and Caitlin each bring their own spark, sass, and storytelling to the mic, making a vibrant blend of laughs, heart, and unfiltered conversation. With backgrounds spanning journalism, broadcasting, and even nursing, these three besties are as relatable as they are remarkable — and they’re not afraid to say exactly what you’re thinking.
Brodie is 17-million-miles-an-hour, and if you were looking up “shy, introverted wallflower”, you would not find her anywhere near it. She is an award-winning journalist and podcaster who has had a successful, exciting career as a broadcaster in New Zealand for 18 years. She loves to run slightly uncomfortable long distances, has a real passion for gin and has been single for 923 years. She was once a champion surf lifesaver and spent a few years in the New Zealand Army. There’s never a dull moment with this independent media powerhouse.
Gracie is a wee pocket rocket originally hailing from the mighty Waikato. Currently living in Auckland, with her husband Ali and beautiful boys Frank and Otis, she has an extensive career in journalism and New Zealand media industries. She loves fitness, fashion, animals, and cooking. Once an accomplished equestrian who represented New Zealand overseas, Gracie is also extremely passionate about fashion and the arts and doesn’t need an excuse to get dolled up for any occasion. Her drink of choice? A dirty martini, extra olives.
Caitlin Marett is a small-town girl who, after ten years in radio, decided to leave her job as executive producer of ZM’s Fletch, Vaughan and Megan to pursue her dream of helping people by becoming a nurse. She’s obsessed with rosé, watching Friends on repeat and always finds herself in inexplicably weird situations. Caitlin would love a husband (she has a WONDERFUL boyfriend) and loves love so much that she became a marriage celebrant, which doesn’t help with her ability to cry at everything. She tries to live ethically and wants to be a vegan but can’t stop eating cheese. Just your average millennial who’s a basic bitch with a big heart.
